So what do you (realistically!) want?

A nice card with a message would suit me. Not a cheap one bought as an afterthought though.

Are you asking what a man would like, or what a woman would like BTW?

Flowers are nice, but such a rip of at Valentines. The best evening out was to the dog track, the worst was enforced romance in a local restaurant with coupes bickering through grated teeth. Grin

Ah, I will ask DH...

I'd quite like a card :)

Other than that I don't mind - wouldn't want anything expensive and flowers although lovely would cost more then.

Ah just realised I misunderstood the thread Blush

Nothing - it is yet another commercialised attempt to get us to spend on stuff. Just tell your partner "I love you" on any day of the week - regardless of the invented "occasion".

Same applies to Father's Day!

I agree with mikey
It's all a load of bollocks innit! Love is for every day of the year not just another hallmark holiday.
