My faux pas is, listening to Depeche Modes enjoy the silence, the line "pleasures remain so does the pain" i heard as "pleasures dreaming soilders burping" Anybody else got one?

Not me, but someone confessed to mishearing the lyrics of Kenny Rogers' 'You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille' as "With four hundred children and a crap in the field".

Can't really blame the lass for leaving, can you?

There's a lyric on curious George, that sounds a lot like
"bi curious"
It's actually "like curious".
