A question about sex and men

I've had 4 lovers since i split from my ex last year and all of them would look at my face intently when we were having sex. I usually have my eyes closed.

Why are they doing that?

if your eyes are closed how do you respond properly to your partner, sounds a bit selfish, had a few partners who closed their eyes - very self involved lovers, although they thought their moves were rocking my world Hmm - didn't look to see that wasn't the case!

Its a bit of a red flag TBH, prefer a man who looks to see what reactions I'm having to what he's doing, as I look at their face to see what's happening! Your partners reaction is important when having sex no?

well i havnt got much experience to go on. my ex hubby never used to do it although the sex was good and we both knew what we liked.

So it's a good thing is it? Is it because we are new lovers and they need to find out what we like and don't like?

Is it because men are visual? And they want to see if your enjoying what their doing?

with an established partner its not so important as you know each others bodies well

but with a new partner I think it's very important to look for all responses, sound and visual etc, those who don't are man boys who think their colour by number routine never fails (because they never bothr to see it failing!)

I don't think it matters whether you are visual or auditory, with a new partner you should look/listen to both responses, and physical responses too.

I don't think that just applies to men BTW, that said, as it progresses I do close my eyes but by then we're pretty sure we're both happy Hmm

Thanks for your input monkey. I'm not used to having lots of lovers so want to enjoy this part of being single for as long as I possibly can!!!!!!!

As to auditory responses, well, I'd like to let myself go but am far too polite to do that first time. Oh shit, i'm well out of touch!
