Circumcision - genital mutilation is no joke

The late, great in usual articulate form remonstrating about the disgusting nature of ritual circumcision and how religion is a poison which makes good people do bad things.

Disgusting, whether on boys or girls. Should be illegal, unless for very clear medical reasons.

My dh and ds are circumsized. Purely for medical reasons! My ds had to have it done when he was 3. How a parent can let/make their child have this done for the sake of religion is no different to physical child abuse IMO.
