Where are all the Dads?

Where are all the Dads?

And do they realise what goes on, on MN? Their every weakness, quirk and peccadillo held up for examination and ridicule.

Where he is normally judged to be in the wrong. And the OP is sent away convinced she's right. To further oppress her poor partner.

Men don't stand a chance, when finally women get to rule the world, and I can see it coming, I wonder what sort of world it will be?

Will shopping on Saturday afternoons become compulsory?
Will staying in with a bottle of wine and watching a RomCom/strictly/Xfactor become the staple Saturday night entertainment, and the end of Pubs?

Will wine be reclassified as not an alcoholic drink but a health drink?

Will men be made to discuss their feelings more?

Dads be afraid, but then again it may be nice to let women rule the world for a bit.

Trucky - you're behind the curve, mate. All of these things have already come to pass.

Fortunately the house I live in is a bit behind the times and we smile and have a good time.
Life's not one long rom com where everyone discusses the size of each others arses.
We live in the real world.
I'm off to the pub :)

No gross generalisations and steretyping in that opening post, was there then! Grin

We already do rule the world, mate - you just haven't noticed yet because we're still letting you think you're in charge Wink

Agree 100% with the sentiments on the original post. To the extent that I now go on the 'Relationships' forum and lambast every unjustified anti-male sentiment on there (and there are plenty of them!)
I''m just going to start a new thread entitled "i'm a man and proud of it..."

SolpadeineMaxed · 12/01/2012 20:23

mike - I agree, there is plenty of unjustified anti-male sentiment on the 'relationships' forum, and that's really sad. Not every poster on MN is anti-male, far from it.

I would be more than happy to see more male opinions on MN, even the balance out a bit.

Don't tar everybody with the same brush, is what I'm saying. If you look for anti male sentiment, you'll find it. If you look for pro-male sentiment, you'll find that too.

Good luck with your crusade!!
