Ive been on mumsnet for a while now and have noticed that where there are a lot more of us blokes on here than people would guess. HARDLY ANYONE IS ACTUALY POSTING A THING ON DADSNET.

Guys if we want to have a space on here for us to use. Then we need to use it

I didnt even realise that Dadsnet was even here until I saw a rare active topi bring it up. We dont even make it into the popular forums because there is not enough activity.

I guess most of the guys (me included) post on the other topics more than here because they seem to be the right place to post on specific issues/queries/comments. Dadsnet is a bit of a "catch all".....

JohnnyRod · 16/10/2011 20:30

Ah, we know all this shit anyway, we're just cruising along...

Only kidding I think GMSS is right.

Yes, the boards are topic-specific, rather than "Dads-net". Unless we wanted an existentialist angst about being "a dad", which frankly I would happily do without. People, incl. dads, vote with their keyboard swipes.

Why do we need a Dadsnet?

BelfryBloke · 31/10/2011 19:04

"Why do we need a Dadsnet?"

It would seem we need a Dadsnet primarily for women to periodically come on here and say, please explain what my DP is thinking.

And for me and Pan to mutter something about ManUre and Arsenal, respectively, on the football thread.

And for new people to discover Sexual Technics.

Pan · 31/10/2011 23:16

odd that. The most entertaining PL for years, and and the footie thread is deserted, largely, leaving BB and I to post understanding and sympathic posts dripping with irony Grin about our respective clubs.

GiveMeSomeSpace · 01/11/2011 16:47

Pan the PL is a dreamland for us from the lower divisions..............

BelfastBloke · 02/11/2011 07:55

Marseille carved us open many times last night. Good thing they kept missing the goal.

Good thing we had Vermaalen back. His song is to the tune of 'Oh My darling Clementine':
'Oh Vermaalen, Oh Vermaalen, Oh Vermaalen, Number Five
Fuck yer Rooneys, Fuck yer Drogbas,
He will eat them cunts alive.'

The song about Per Mertesacker is (tune of 'Guantanamero', or 'Vieira')
'Big Fuckin German,
We've got a Big Fuckin German,
Big Fucking Ge-erman...'

Sorry, thought this was the football thread. I'll put my extremely boring post over there instead.
