Porn

I rather suspect this has been discussed here before, but I couldn't find the thread. I wanted to hear some people's views on porn.

I use it fairly infrequently and it's not something I'm proud of. However, I find on occasion, it serves a quick need, especially if I'm away on business.

However I'm dogged by the idea that it's wrong. Part of this might be catholic guilt, but some people are very convinced that it's harmful to women.

I don't feel it has any particularly damaging effect on me as a husband and a parent.

What do other dads think?

You going to struggle to get any helpful responses given this is your first ever post. Any responses you do get are going to be fairly bland - ie take it or leave it.

Read any of the porn threads on here and see just why most mainstream porn is so harmful to women and men , you will come away with a greater understanding of why so many women hate their husband's porn use and how it can destroy intimacy too.

The woman get paid and enjoy it, so its not the woman who appear exploited!

I watch porn regularly and I have done for many years. I used to feel guilty because I felt that I shouldn't enjoy watching it. But I did then and I do now. Sometimes when I'm alone and sometimes when I'm with my hubs.
Depending on the mood I'm in depends on what kind of porn I watch.
I definately think it has a part to play in our lives, just because it spices things up occasionally. Obviously obessions are dangerous but that's with everything in life isn't it!
