fat women attractive?

Hi Dadsnetters, hope you don't mind me asking this question in your section but I could do with some male specific external perspective on this. And I don't want you to hold back. I need to hear the truth!

I'm about 4 stone overweight - 5' 7" tall, I am told I am extremely pretty although I am getting older. I'm intelligent, good job, excellent sense of humour, warm personality, confident and good company to be with. I don't take myself too seriously and generally enjoy life. Two different male married friends have said that they are amazed I'm single and if they were not married, they would be interested. So, what's the problem? Are men really put off because I am overweight?

Being overweight will put some men off, but probably isn't as big a factor as your attraction to shitbags.

Of course, what you may find is that if you are a single mum, that may put some (mainly younger) men off too. But that's another subject.

I tend to find Chubsters have much nicer skin and a rounded face tends to be prettier than a boney one. Sadly men will tend to offer more attention to thin blinded types. OP ought join dating site and be up front about height and weight, and let personality be decider on a date.

Its a long long time since I dated anyone but I don't find women attractive who are either too thin or too fat but a fairly wide range in the middle. I dont generally find blonde women very attractive.

In our relationship, DW has been between size 8 and size 14 and still together after 25 years. Not a very helpful answer but everyone has a preference.

Let's be honest here ?
Men with beer bellies or are overweight for whatever reason are not the ideal dating material for ladies.
But when men admit to not fancying women with the same problem then men are being shallow.
