Well hello there.

I hope this is the correct place to put this as I don't want a telling off on my first day.

So, erm... I'm new here and just getting settled in. I probably should have joined a while ago as my son is now 3, but meh.

I set up a profile but for those who find it hard work reaching out and clicking a button...

I'm basically a single father as my wife is disabled and can't help me with the raising of our son. It's no biggie, I just get on with it.

I just fancied some new people to shoot the breeze with or get annoyed with depending on your outlook.

Well, there you go, here I am.

P.S. If I end up becoming a regular poster you may notice I will never use text speak, abbreviations or acronyms, apart from P.S. etc. and maybe lol. I enjoy the elegant, varied and beautiful English language to much to spoil it's form.

Hi everyone - also wanted to introduce myself. I have 2 kids and have been both non-resident and (now, happily) resident parent, partner, blended family and all that family stuff. But more importantly like any good music from 1970s and a decent film or two. Have read the mumsnet relationships forum so prewarned about visitors to dadsnet from the dark side so hello
