I posted this in music but from previous experience realise I might get more response from fellow dads.
Recent events for our family and that of the singer in the band I'm in (she caught around the same time my DD was born) mean that gigging in that band will unlikely for some time.
Following watching our DD really enjoying The Beat cd I got this week and knowing how much DW loves a bit of ska/2-tone/reggae I'm trying to find folks out there in the Birmingham area up for a bit of a jam and maybe the odd local gig once we have enough tunes rehearsed. I play bass and can do a bit of backing vocals (wouldn't necessarily go as far to say singing though!) so if there's any guitarists/drummers/singers (keyboards/brass also welcome!) out there up for this sort of thing who can spare an hour or so a week/fornight let me know!
