I only buy Black. I would not wear red underwear.

Do M&S sell red underwear for men? Yes, here which is not exactly Red.

Most items sold by M&S are Blue, Grey, Black, White. Not much call for Red.

HowsTheSerenity · 16/07/2010 18:46

Can't really imagine you in a lacy red thong though. Does nto go with the image of NannyNick I have created in my head.

colditz · 16/07/2010 18:54

Ohhhh the deliberate obtuseness on my vagaries!

I meant ON GIRLS.

I bought a red set today but once the post purchase mist went away, I thought it might look a touch cheap.

The fact they look at bit cheap I think is the point supposed to be a bit racier/porn like which is why men like them.

As a woman I wouldn't mind something red if it came from Agent Provocateur or La Perla, but wouldn't be keen on some red tat from Walford Market!

southeastastra · 16/07/2010 19:04

rofl at nannynick!

colditz · 16/07/2010 19:05

it's not at all la Perla. It's like this with these

Oh I see now you add the important bit of information you missed out!

I doubt colour really matters that much... though Red is supposed to represent Danger so maybe that turns some men on.

nannynick · 16/07/2010 19:09

Mind you, maybe my brain just doesn't function the same as others... thus makes the mistake in thinking you meant mens underwear

BitOfFun · 16/07/2010 19:11

Danger danger, high voltage

I think some men like it, some don't. As with all things.

Lavitabella · 16/07/2010 21:14

I think it's quite not, not slutty red. let us know if it has the desired effect!

diggingintheribs · 16/07/2010 21:20

I once read that men like white underwear, women like black (could be the other way round) and both think that the other likes red!

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 16/07/2010 21:22

My DH likes all colours EXCEPT white and nude . Which is good as I hate white as it goes grey after two washes and nude is disgusting.

BigGitDad · 16/07/2010 21:25

Red could be sexy especially with a Father Christmas hat on. Bit unseasonal though right now...

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 16/07/2010 21:28

Oh I don't know, the Xmas cards will be in the shops next month....

ThatVikRinA22 · 16/07/2010 21:34

i love red anything. its my favourite colour, i think this is rather nice

from m & s

Alouiseg · 16/07/2010 21:37

Red gingham works................cowboy hat and spurs optional

BandMsDad · 19/07/2010 12:37

Depends who's wearing it.

Angelina Jolie - Yes

Vanessa Feltz - Probably not

jzh · 12/08/2010 02:54

Red doesnt do a whole lot, I like white and black. Standard.

2010Dad · 24/08/2010 14:41

White and black for me, too.

Blackduck · 24/08/2010 14:45

dp would like mine to match but I just don't do that :)

NorbertDentressangle · 24/08/2010 14:54

Funnily enough the only red underwear I've ever owned was bought for me by a boyfriend at the time.

Lets just say though that it wasn't the sort of underwear you'd want to be wearing if you were knocked over by a bus crossing the road and ended up in A&E Hmm Blush

Flighttattendant · 24/08/2010 14:58

I have no idea but ex-dp told me he was told by his friends when they were young, that a woman wearing red shoes was also wearing no knickers.

He went around for AGES looking for women in red shoes. lol

Heracles · 30/08/2010 14:47

Any colour works, really. Underwear in general is usually a good thing, matching is a definite plus.

Except flesh-coloured; that's just fucking freaky.

UrbanDad · 24/09/2010 13:59

For me underwear is like the price tag on a cake. Doesn't matter how fancy it is, it's coming off before consumption. The contents are of course more important.

No pants may be a better option. The saucy Australian GF of a mate of mine allegedly frequently went around in skirts but no pants and to prove it would rock back in her chair when they were in a cafe (or ask him to pick up a spoon she'd deliberately dropped) or give him an eyeful when sitting in the park, which he tells me really got him going (I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt).

UrbanDad · 24/09/2010 14:01

colditz - I've now read your second post and wish I'd written "deliberately to show him the obtuseness of her vagaries"...
