The piece even goes on to explain the difference between legal e-bikes and illegal e-motorbikes. Usually, lazy journalists use the term 'e-bikes' when they are referring to e-motorbikes, which annoys me greatly. Well done BBC South East for getting it right.

Good. My e-bike is a lifeline to get around locally. I would be absolutely devastated if e-bikes were swept up in any sort of ban.
