Chains are being greased and oiled as I type. Crush barriers being erected. “Special” sauces are being prepared…. all for the biggest push bike race in the world.

Is the MN peloton pumping some air in our tyres?

shortaint I completely agree, I used to love just allowing myself a day to watch the French contyside and listen to them try and pronounce the latest Chateau coming up on screen. The horses and sunflowers, not so much the wine recommendations and occasional rabbit recipe though.

Also I am top of the velogames league at the moment!!!

The whole big league? Wow! None of mine have fallen off yet which is unusual, but they're not doing as well as they could be.

The Channel 5 highlights are just a straight lift of the TNT coverage, simply with a different studio presenter.
Sean Kelly must be blackmailing someone to still have a job... "yes, well..." or "as we can see"... yes, I can see it, so tell me something I don't know! He's awful.
The rest of thexTNT team are good, but I also miss the ITV4 crew.... Gary Imlach is the greatest sports broadcaster we have, it's such a loss. I particularly miss him on a rest day, like today, when he would give lots of sarcastic links to interviews in cheap chain hotels, with men in dodgy sportswear.
I like Tadej, but the competitive nature of the event has already been killed..... come on, Jonas, pull off a miracle!
