Recommendations for first time unfit adult petite bike, lightweight to fit in car/boot, but maybe with electric as live in a very hilly area.

No, you can find bargains such as the one I posted up thread. But it is the case with bikes, as with most things that to a large degree, you get what you pay for.
But everyone's wants and needs are different and I hope you enjoy your new bike.

Hello OP. I live in a very hilly area and am a lapsed cyclist so I’m not quite as fit as I once was. I bought an Otto E Terra using the bike to work scheme. It suits my needs as it’s relatively light and has enough battery to do a 30-35 very hilly ride.

I have rented better e bikes when on holiday but they all come in at around £5-6k.
As with most bikes, to get lightness you have to chuck money at it.

I’m looking for an electric bike for commuting with a moderate hill along the 6km route. I am 5ft 3 and want a folding one and have been looking at the Engwe P20 and the Fiido D11 which might suit you
