I have joined the league again for the Giro.

I did quite badly on velogames in the classics but looking forward to the Giro highlights on Quest / the discovery app.

Also will be cool to see the Giro go through the Vatican at the end

I’ve entered. The new not improved app makes it impossible to copy and paste numbers so I had to read out the league number to dh to write down so that I could then use it fii on t my entry.

I bet they’ve not fixed the emojis either as there should be a - angry face - here (and a confused face to finish)

watching on my mates TNT subscription. It has split screen into 4 sections. Can’t seem to get rid of it.

Managed to find highlights on Quest.
The demise of Eurosport is going to be a problem. This being the last year we'll be able to watch le Tour free to air, I'm not paying £30.99 a month subscription for a lot of additional sport I'm not interested in.

my mate has my sky sports for F1, golf, cricket, tennis, football. I get his TNT for bikes and footie. Though I support Man Utd so this season isn’t an actual benefit.

We decided to get TNT and see whether it's worth it - while of course it does give you the full live coverage (plus highlights) I do find that the schedule on TNT typically repeats a lot across the different TNT channels. So if you want to record highlights of the Giro, it's very easy to end up selecting the duplicates or wrong ones, e.g. ending up with 3x stage 1, no stage 2 and 2 of stage 3 . I've also found that the "record series" option doesn't work very well on TNT (as compared to Eurosport). Appreciate some of this is user error while we get more familiar with it, but it's not quite as intuitive as I'd have expected.

Well today's stage was a good one. Although a bit dusty.

So my punt on Kasper Asgreen finally paid off and rather than dooming him , he delivered

He’s helped me lift up from supporting the whole league to “only” being 2nd from the bottom

What a nice stage! Really nice interview with Verona. The quest commentary / interviews are quite good.

Well yesterday was a stage. At least me forgetting to put a Velogames team in means that anyone who was cursed yesterday wasn't cursed on my account. Usually being in my team = falling off.

And I haven't been watching the highlights for a few days but I did read online that Ayuso got a bee stuck in his helmet which sounds horrible and is part of the reason he DNF.

And oh my goodness it is such hard work!

Ooh I'm trying to figure out if I can get to watch Women's tour of Britain in person. Will have a look at the route.

A bit far for me! But I went a few years ago now I think. It was a nice day out. I didn't make it onto the highlights though!

Annoyingly work gets in the way of the not too far to go for the day stages. Shall have to watch on telly instead

I have just looked up today's stage winner online (I clearly have no will power to wait for the highlights). I won't post any spoilers until after the highlights. Just the Vatican tomorrow!

The Vatican could have chosen a new pope based on the winner of tomorrow's stage - they missed a trick there.

Well I like to think if I'd remembered to do a velogames team in time I'd have had the (probable, not watched today's yet) winner on it. Although if I had, he'd not have (probably) won!
