We’re thinking about merging this section, what do you think?

Hi all,
We’re doing some work on making the Talk boards more useful and user-friendly for both regular and new users. After looking at some stats for the site, we think we could boost activity on the whole by merging some of the lesser used sections.

We’re proposing to fold the topics in this section into the Sports area.

This should increase the number of topics in the section - and hopefully lead to more posts and responses to members.

What do you think?

Hmm, I think it might disappear altogether there. You would need to mention cycling in the strap line.

Thats strange...this message was in the childbirth section, but when I click it I can see it is taking me to cycling. Two very different things 😂

As long as it's still a Topic within the Section, then it would make sense. We've complained for long enough that the Cycling topic was in the wrong section and was too hard to find but were ignored

Yeah, I couldn’t find cycling when I looked for it. That can’t be helping traffic.

This doesn't make any sense to me? I wouldn't go to Sports if I was looking for advice on childbirth...it's not a sport?

At the moment, cycling is in "In the Club" topic (iirc) which makes it almost impossible to find. The only reason I can find it as that I've set it as a favourite in the app.

I can't help myself... cycling should be in Relationships considering how many people mention it in relation to shitty husbands.

Hadn't considered this before: given that this topic is in the "In the Club" section and it's called "Cycling" - maybe we have all been misinterpreting the intended subject matter right from the start

We were all a bit confused when was put in the anonymous "in the club"...Sports is probably better though def. with it's own title, otherwise it gets lost again.

"in the club"....child birth...there is a connection at least.
