Points for position on GC? Well yes despite not having G in my team, damn.....

If it isn't too complex for the spreadsheet and Endo The Commisar it might be fun ?? And get some of the scores up the board so we will all be in a bunch sprint!

OK so rest day GC points have been awarded. I'll do the same on the next rest day, and at the end. Not going back and retrospectively changing previous days because can't be arsed :-)

Stage 13 2015 in the Pyrenees was where I send those photos from, getting far too close to the roll out for the comfort of the local gendarmerie - the year of Froome v Quintana. 4 years ago!

I do have a theory about Yateses. I think they might swap sometimes. Quick switch of the numbers over, who would know? Like those twins at school that used to go to the wrong classes to mess with the teachers.

So time trial today but no Rohan Dennis. There's a story there but nobody knows what it is yet.

I used to play footie to a pretty good level, and in our team there was one set of identical twins. With no numbers on back, they exploited this advantage when it came to bookings and sendings off etc. " No ref that was ar kid last time!"..when it wasn't ar kid...

Rohan Dennis - it's like your best penalty-taker walking off the pitch immediately before the penalty shoot-out.

IN the absence of any other indication (fitness, equipment) and just walking off with no explanation are we looking at MH struggles? Something personal.

Given the scoring system, I should have chosen more potential stage winners rather than GC contenders

Just getting back into watching the tour. Wimbledon and the cricket world cup sort of got in the way last week.

Luckily nobody chose Rohan Dennis....not watching TT live I find them dull.

Yesterday I had The Wrong Yates unfortunately but I won't hold that against him, was very pleased with his win. The Slant household also share similar suspicions about their twin powers.

My TRX teacher said this morning that she believes there are rumblings within the team re Rohan Dennis. I just hope we find out what's going on because it's quite odd.

Just seeing TT now. Yes, no scenery no competition with each other, no intrigue. And it's very British!
As we may know TT was the only way of competitive riding for years in the UK. No road closures allowed by law. Truly absurd.

No - we've produced our own teams and Endo has put together a spreadsheet which collates the results (with an emphasis on stage wins which meant I chose the wrong team as I had 4 or 5 team leaders in it and no Sagan )

But feel free to comment and commiserate

Can't believe I missed it! I'm tipping Alaphilippe for overall GC, he may lose yellow before the end but will regain it. Sagan for green - he wants that record seventh. Kruijswijk for polka dot, Bernal for white.

It was a really last minute thing as we were hoping velogames would run but sadly it wasn't to be.

It was a very last-minute thing last year with velogames for the tdf. They have had some of the women's events this year which has been good.
