Where is best? Dd is 7 so nothing strenuous. Looking to camp on cycle route, preferably traffic free. Any suggestions? Thanks.

One of the Euro Velo routes runs a long stretch of the Loire. I’ve covered a stretch from Orleans south for 100 odd miles. It’s largely traffic free with small stretches on quiet roads. There appeared to be plenty of campsites and B&Bs on the way.

I cycled Paris to mont st Michelle last year and most of it was traffic free, even some parts that weren’t traffic free I’d cycled with my dd when she was around 12. The route had some beautiful towns and villages on route Domfront is on the cross roads of routes so you could easily have four days of riding in different directions all pretty much traffic free with children

Have at look at the velo routes online
