But pannier bags you can buy for 9.99 for 2 from Lidl that click off and you can take into the shop with you work too!!

I had these for a while, one on each side. But in the end since 90% of my riding is commuting it was easier to stick with panniers.

If your bike is mostly a shopping getter the baskets are great though.
