Weather outside is awful & the dog is being walked later by a friend so nothing else to do but watch coverage on ITV & knit some squares for Woolly Hugs. It's been odd for me this year as we were in USA for a week - I managed to catch some of their coverage of the Alps' stages but I missed being able to watch the 1 hour round up programme (and their experts were not like ours!)

Was a good race in the end and definitely a worthy winner.

I saw this on another thread today and was surprised I'd heard nothing about it before - a group of women have ridden the whole course the day before the men did:

I somehow missed this thread this year. I've been tipping G for a Tour win for years. DH and I had a bet this year. I just knew it was his year. Thrilled to bits for him.

I definitely watched too much of it.

Lady on Sky news had a picture up of G and his wife and she said "that's G and his wife today, I mean yesterday" and both dh and I said simultaneously, "No, that was today as she was wearing a white dress today and a red dress yesterday"
