Helmet cameras

Is it worth getting a helmet camera for my short London commute?
I've seen numerous instances of dangerous driving recently. And been told by 2 taxi drivers that they hope I die. And had a couple of minor knocks over the years.

On the plus side this would give useful evidence if something bad happens

But I'm worried I'll turn into an obsessive lunatic constantly posting clips of dangerous driving on YouTube.
Thoughts?

If I was cycling in London I'd definitely get a helmet cam, maybe even one fixed to the brace under the seat

Thanks. What's the advantage of the latter?

The rear facing camera gives evidence of their impatience to overtake should they hit you and the helmet cam footage is inconclusive.

Makes sense. Thanks.

I use on, have done for a while but you have to watch that you don't turn into one of those people that go rounds looking for trouble just so that you can post stuff online.
I find it reassuring that when you have people sitting on your back mudguards, revving aggressively waiting to get pass, if you turn around and point to the camera on your helmet nine times out of ten they back off and even better don't give you a punishment pass for holding them up. 😁👍

Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent camera? I’ve just been advised (after another close call) by the local police that I should get one as it really helps them with prosecutions.

I ordered fly 12 and fly 6 seem brilliant but I’m too poor at the mo so sent them back.
