Adult scooter recommendations?

Looking for a commuter scooter for myself to ride to and from nursery and train station with my son, who is on his own scooter. We mainly travel on footpaths.

I'm currently around 15 1/2 st, so right on the cusp of max. recommended weights for scooters which is fine. All going to plan I'll be slimmer soon enough!

Does anyone have a suggestion? I've been looking on amazon for scooters around £50-£60 but I don't want something that's going to break in years first three months. Willing to spend up to £100 for a good one.
