Anyone use a mirror?

As per the title really... today I bought a new bike with seat for ds (she's soooo beautiful, but I won't gush!) and it struck me that a rear view mirror would be handy to keep an eye on ds (and save me wobbling when I look back, going to take a while to get used to the handling with the seat...). Anyone used one? Can you angle them so I'd be able to see ds?

Yes - I have got a bar end mirror on one bike - no good for looking at DS.

You need a helmet mounted mirror to be able to see high up. I have got one of those that I use when touring on my bike with bar end shifters. DH used to use one to have conversations with DD on the tandem.

I have got this one which is generally well regarded.

Thanks! Will have a look. Hoping to be able to ride my beautiful new steed home tomorrow (holiday packing be damned) so that should give me a good idea of what I need. Smile

Hi, sorry to hijack, but does anyone know if a bar mounted mirror would be ok for trailer, as it's lower than bike mounted seat?
Thanks

Do they not do big (70s) wing mirrors like my old Chopper used to have?

They have one that you wear on your wrist on amazon, it has good reviews.
