Eeek, this TT looks amazing, just waiting until Eurosport deign to bring it to my TV screen at 12.30. Can't wait to see how Contador and Froome get on.

Oh man, I should really be watching the Wales match, DS2 will kill me if I don't tell him it's on but I need to see Cancellara do the TT in Switzerland. Nooooooo.

Froome. He knows what to do and when to do it. Sky looked massively strong didn't they. And Kwiakowski and Roche are yet to be added to the mix.

I missed it and did the rookie mistake of going on the internet and as my FB is entirely bikes (I've hidden most of my 'friends' not sure I've got the hang of the platform really Grin) I got a wall of Froome looking happy in yellow. Never mind, I'll still enjoy the highlights.

I missed it because we were out doing a day of sport, not unusual in this household BUT - DS3 entered a local fun bike ride (National Cycling week or something, shouldn't it always be cycling week, some people have their priorities all wrong) because his friend was doing it and had a brilliant time, I think I've converted another one, result Grin Bike Grin.

That Steve Cummings isn't all modest like they are waffling on about, he just wasn't as wise as Pan to prepare by practicing keeping his hands off the bars for 6 full pedal turns Grin.

Froome looked very strong indeed. I am SO chuffed for Dan Martin, he has been one of our favourite riders for years. Got a lovely pic DS1 snapped of him at some long forgotten bike race now, cycling up a 20% slope with a big smile on his face.

Steve Cummings isn't a bit modest, he's a wily pro with oodles of tactical nous, that's what he is. Great ride from him, really good stuff.

Yes, Froome is looking ominously strong, and he insists he's not at full fitness yet.

Also chuffed for Dan Martin, he's one of our faves in this house as well.

That Sky train looks to be performing magnificently, doesn't it? There's also G. to fit in as well. And of course one or two late additions from the MrS younger leagues. Grin

Steve - what a ride, from 50km out. He is highly adaptable isn't he? Does the escapado, the domestique, the punchier and has a turn of speed. I always think he looks like he's really doing this biking thing as a fill in for his main job, as quantity surveyor in Kent.....Hmm And we will be working on the no-hands thing in prep for next month. It's just too embarassing..Bike

next up is the womens tour this week - shown extensively on ITV in the UK, and coming too the Peak District even! So Gracie from ORICA-AIS and me will get some quality time together....

Sky train are on it, I loved the waffly commentary where they said they were like roman soldiers around their leader with shields. There is something extremely no nonsense about them when they are doing their job. With G in there AND Kwaito AND Roche there will be no excuses for Mr Froome.

I have to say though it was very unnerving seeing Contador without the legs to challenge Froome and Porte. Still coming into form?

Did anyone see the great letter in Cycling Weekly this week? Froome/Nibali - Lazarus. Pointing out how after a dire two weeks in the Giro everyone celebrated him pulling it out of the bag in the last week whereas if Froome has a great tour assisted by a perfect team everyone accuses him of doping. Thought it made a very good point.

Steve is totally a surveyor from Kent Grin. He obviously changes super quick in a phone booth and his colleagues have no idea of his secret identity.

yes you coukld almost hear the theme tune from Indiana Jones playing as Henao, Pouels and Landa bridged the gap, went passed the diminished group and sat back on the front guarding the emperor. They must be really annoying to 'race' against.
