what is the sicky out bar thing called for bikes to stop cars comming too close?

Friend has a trike and has seen a plastic bar with reflectors on that sticks out and stops cars getting too close by cant find out what they are called or where to buy can anyone help - thanks

I don't know, but it would be bloody handy to have one round here, fed up of cars whistling past too close

I call it a lollipop but no idea if that's correct!
