If so, i need help. I have an iPhone and i can’t figure out how to get the german characters when typing the german words (for example the one that looks like a fancy b or S)

i can’t progress my lessons.

thank you in anticipation.

Press and hold the letter s on the keyboard it comes up with ß which I think is the one you are looking for 😊

Same for the umlauts- hold down whichever letter and it’ll bring up all the diacritics.

Thanks! i was trying b for ß! how do you get the S one please?

If you press the globe symbol at the bottom left of the screen you can pick the option of different language keyboards. That will give you the common special characters, so to speak, and the extra speed.

Me.

in my experience if you type the double s (SS) it’ll turn it into a beta

If you click on the two images posted you can see the globe symbol on the first and the ‚English & Deutsch‘ keyboard on the second.

How did you get to the ß for your post?
