Anyone out there learning Japanese? I've just started in preparation for a trip next year and it's a language I've always wanted to learn. It's so hard though - I just can't imagine being able to speak it at all! I've got a lesson through italki tomorrow, plus I'm using the Japanese from Zero textbooks and YouTube videos. Looking for tips / suggestions or just solidarity! Thanks.

I'm not learning Japanese but giving you a bump, as a fellow language learner.

A bit late to the thread but I have been studying Japanese a few years now on and off. I am learning through company called Smile Nihongo Academy.

Have a look at her free videos on SmileNihongo.com - she has free taster courses and they are pretty good. :)
