20 years ago I'd have considered myself fluent in French but i'm so rusty now! Off to France this summer and I thought about listening to a few podcasts while walking the dog to try and brush up but i'm not really sure where to start!

I think something like a French equivalent of The Rest is Politics would be good - not too tied to French popular culture which I'm also out of date on. I wondered if anyone had any recommendations? Thank you!

You could try RTL radio: www.rtl.fr which has live streaming and also podcasts.

I like listening to Les Grosses Tetes in the afternoon, not that I understand more than 6 words!

gosh just gave that a try - it's bonkers!

Thank you! I did give Les Grosses Tetes a listen and it was hard! I'll give it another go and see what else RTL does. Really wish I'd kept up more - spoken French is soooo much harder than written!

Try Code Source by le Parisien

I listen to Bliss. It’s a bit like Mumsnet in podcast form. They interview normal women with interesting stories about maternity, parenthood, life, love etc. your French would have to be pretty decent to follow it but I’ve learned loads of new vocab from jt.
