Duolingo is Brazilian Portuguese, its worth deciding whether you want to learn Brazilian or European. They are far more different than English and American - there's different grammar as well as pronunciation.

If you are learning European Portuguese then the website “Practise Portuguese” is amazing.

You need to pay a smallish monthly subscription to access all the resources but it really is very good. It has sound buttons for all the words and it explains the grammatical rules really well too.
