Agree, least worst is a contradiction in terms and makes no sense whatsoever. Least bad sort of makes sense but it would be more correct to say something like "best of a bad bunch" or even "least terrible" or "least awful" sound better than "least bad".

It can't be least worst because worst is just that. There is nothing worse than it.
