to take norethisterone ????

Need some advice !!!! Going on hols in December..really really do not want my period for various reasons
...has anyone used norethisterone? Does it work ?? Paranoid I will get breakthrough bleeding? Advice really welcomed please

Yes, wrong place, but I've used it. Just have to email our GP and they will leave a prescription at reception 24 hours later. No problems at all for me. period starts about 2 days after I stop taking it.
