Spanish thread for learners, improvers and native speakers!

Is anyone interested? Just general chat and fun, similar to the Italian thread in this forum. Hopefully the native speakers could correct any mistakes.

Hola, he hecho mi A level en Español, y tengo unos amigos españoles. Desafortunadamente, cuando empezamos al universidad, muchos de ellos vinieron al universidad en Inglaterra así hablamos más en Ingles, y no he practicado mucho recientemente.

Si ustedes quisieran charlar en español, me chiflaría!

That was probably rubbish, but I'd really like a thread like this. I was nearly fluent at one point, but it's slipped more and more, and now I'm embarrassed about trying to speak/write it. I do intend to watch Spanish programmes more, and read more, but I never seem to quite get around to it!

Well, I have had a lot of experience with this. I referred to both my father's third and fourth wives as "my dad's wife." He married his second wife when I was a child and she and I were close and remained close after they divorced. She is the only one I referred to as stepmother.

Hola Polkadots! Yo necesito practicar tambien pero no tengo amigos espanoles . Puedo entender el espanol escrito pero es mas dificil hablar y escribir. Espero que algunos habladores nativos vengan a esta conversacion para corregir todos nuestros errores.

Darnit how do I put in accents?!

Sandy- google "one hour programming Spanish accents" and download it. It does what it says on the tin, lets you use the accents for an hour, then you have to open it again. It's great. Look! ñ á

Yo he estudiado español en la Universidad hace muchos años, y he olvidado casi todo. Estoy estudiando de Nuevo sobre todo con I podcasts di Notes In Spanish que son muy muy utiles. Espero de volver en España este verano. Estoy leyendo en español tambien, al momento La Sombra del Viento.

¡Hola! He empezado un “nivel A“ en español y me gustaría practicar. Mi nivel A es un curso de distancía.

Tengo varios amigos españoles, y también vivía en Guatemala por 6 meses. Hace 15 anos, así olvidé mucho. Puedo hablar y entender bastante bien pero no he escrito mucho. Mi gramática no es muy bueno.

También he estudiado español en la universidad y me temo que voy a olvidar todo... sería muy bien poder practicar con otros :)
