Spamalot.

My mother is going to take me to see Spamalot on my birthday and I'm wondering a how good it is and b if a non Monty Python fan can enjoy it?

I love Monty Python and my mother enjoyed their films but I wouldn't want to subject her to Spamalot if she won't enjoy it too.

That should say she enjoyed the films but I wouldn't count her as a big fan.

I saw Spamalot a couple of years ago, I have seen the Monty Python films and liked them but never really got the TV series.

I thought it was excellent, really really funny, it does help if you have seen the films as a lot of the jokes are taken from them, but even if you haven't it's still very good.
