I listened again for the second time to this - what a wonderful man !

I listened to this and agree he sounds so lovely- it was such a life affirming show.
Wow seven children!
Chuckled at his dismissal of 'me time'
Loved his choices too-God Only Knows, My Perfect Cousin and that fantastic clip of child giving definition of John the Baptist

yes, the 'me time' thing made me agree very much with him- pity it's not on listen again -it was all lovely -he just sounded HAPPY and contented and loved being with his children...

I had dinner with him and Danny Boyle at a charidee do by pure chance of being invited along with my DH. Both absolutely lovely chaps and great company, clearly adored their families.
