Had pondered visiting this house (with a friend - not with my children) but paragraph 3 of page 3 of the tour put me off:

I found the tone a little discordant - a bit demeaning with respect to 'tourists'...and somewhat chauvinist ('bored company directors wives')..plus a bit pedantic ('absurd error').

Is it just me?

Whatever, it's a fantastic house to visit. Simply amazing. We went in winter on a cold night. I'm sure any time of year is fine! Had read that page but it didnt bother me. If you are in London on the opening times, book and go. A hidden gem.

It is an amazing place. However am sorry to see errant apostrophes on the website (diehard pedant emoticon).
