Family Friendly Cinema?

Does anyone know if the major cinemas do any family friendly showings of U films? Ie, those where it is acceptable to take young children and where the sound is a little lower? I have heard such things exist (like thursday mornings or such) and wonder if the Vue etc do them?

I want to take DD aged 3.5 to see the new Ghibli film Ponyo, which is out next week, and would like to take my 10wk old son who will likely sleep through the whole thing (or i will bf him) but worry about the noise being a bit loud for his tiny ears, and perhaps also too loud for DD too.
