Annie Get Your Gun - good for what age?

Would a 6yo who adores Hairspray and other musicals get it and enjoy it? I haven't seen the movie, don't know it at all but I see Jane Horrocks is doing it at the Young Vic soon.

I would say suitable for about 8 up. Its a very untraditional production - I think brilliant, but not everyone agrees. Songs sound fantastic, and they've managed to make the horribly misogynistic storyline more palatable. Great show, brilliantly sung, inhabits a rather mad world.
