Banksy in Bristol

Can't find any mention of this on here which is surprising

There is a huge new exhibition of Banksy's work at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery - approx 100 pieces of work, some from the New York show last year and some new.

Has transformed the museum and funded and organised by Banksy himself.

Looks great and on for the next 3 months

Saw it on the news last week. Desperately trying to think of a reason to go to Bristol now.

ILoveBanksy · 15/06/2009 11:05

What more of a reason do you need?

I wish we lived nearer as I would love to go! I have a Bansky print on my wall and I love it.

I'll be happy to wait an hour!

ILoveBanksy · 15/06/2009 11:13

Have a look on YouTube. Search something like Banksy in Bristol and there is a tour of the show and chat to the director

Or look at Bristol Museums website

Sorry crap at links!

I've just phoned my brother, we're off up there on the 4th July

belgo · 15/06/2009 11:23

Well we went to Bristol today - DH wanted to see it, we reckoned DC would like it too. Queue was a mile long at 10am. Not much smaller at 4.30 and the museum closes at 5

So we just has a mooch and some lunch. Will go back in the week during the hols.

Quick question to any Bristolians - I can see that you are well-served for clothes and eateries, but where the hell do you buy anything else? I was amazed. Haven't been shopping in Brizzle for years and I'm sure I remember being able to buy all kinds of things in days gone by.
