Would my spoilt little 9 year old DS enjoy Hairspray at the theatre. He would expect the whole perfomance to be child friendly and fun.

He will love it. Learn the songs before you go, it will dd to the fun.

Not sure what you mean by child friendly, but it's full of fun and very lively.
