Agree Cod, I think he's brilliant.

He does a great sketch about being Southern, and what happens when you travel North.

Really? I haven't noticed that. Last saw him on Mock the Week and they all seemed very chummy.

Why do you think they don't like him?

CostaRicanCod · 13/09/2008 17:39

hes matey wiht skinner of frank.
anwyway i reall commend him all to you

< removes surplice>

OP posts:
pointydog · 13/09/2008 17:45

aRE you related to him?

ACtually, first time I saw him on telly, I thought 'oh what a posh perfumed ponce' but I found him funny and have always laughed at him since.

CostaRicanCod · 13/09/2008 17:47

god no
have gleaned all this from wathcing the show!

OP posts:
JackieNo · 13/09/2008 17:49

He's funny sometimes, but just a bit creepy a lot of the time, for me.

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 13/09/2008 17:54

I do think he's the funniest thing on 2 legs. Am suprised he isn't more popular/better known.

CostaRicanCod · 13/09/2008 17:54

i did haev to do some remedial stretching of aforesaid cheeks int eh interval

kind of PULLED them down with my palms to stop them hurting.

wheresthehamster · 14/09/2008 12:14

dd1 and friend are going to see him in Southend in November. I have never heard of him but they assure me he's not an adults only comedian. Can Mners confirm this please?

Snaf · 14/09/2008 12:17

'Chubby braying toff' is not a great comedy persona. He gets on my tits, frankly.

Yet another reason to swoon at DM (ticks list).

AlaskaNebraska · 01/11/2009 13:01

ah that was in the old days before codgate

cocolepew · 01/11/2009 13:06

I saw him last night, me and my friend's faces were stuck like this-> for hours.

clam · 01/11/2009 13:09

Why is it considered OK not to like someone because they are "posh" or " a braying toff?" but would absolutely not be OK if it was because they were common/working class/whatever?

I think he's very funny, but his social class has nothing to do with anything.

MrsBun · 03/11/2009 12:51

Here here

TheBalladofGayTony · 03/11/2009 12:57

that was confusing i thought lapin was back.

he is funny but it takes no less than dara o'briain to hurt my face.

AtleastbeCYBILtoeachother · 03/11/2009 12:58

Ive seen dara live, the way he just makes stuff up based on stories from the audience is brilliant

TheBalladofGayTony · 03/11/2009 13:01

i can't be arsed seeing comics live. they are on the telly teh whole bloody time. might as well go and watch the stage show of the bill or some such
