Do I want to sit through 3-plus hours of this on Saturday? Can't decide whether to get tickets...

I am in London anyway so could easily go in the evening, but whole Handel operas can get a bit samey no?

Seems like we all agree it's a resounding nah then...

3 hours is not so long for Handel. The operas can get a bit samey with the endless da capo arias, but this is an oratorio isn't it? I don't know it, but went to see Samson at the proms a few years back and it was fantastic. I think you should go. What would you be doing on Sat if you weren't there?
