I watched my former brass band play today (on telly, not in the flesh). They sounded fantastic. Was sad not to be playing.

Anyone else performing there this week?

Yes.
My mother.
Pabell y Dysgwyr (Learners' tent)

What does she have to do? Are you going to support her????

She is reciting a poem. Am with her in spirit as am in Bangladesh (are you Peaches btw?)

PeaMcLean · 02/08/2008 20:00

Ah, best of luck to her.

I was Peaches but it got too confusing with Peachy who's also south wales. So I decided to become a legume.

There must be some more MNers competing this week surely?

Bumping cos I'm nosey.

Having said that though, I'm not sure why anyone would go if they weren't competing or watching someone they know actually taking part in something. I was there today for a meeting and it just seems to be masses of trade stands for every quango / charity in Wales. Not much else to do.
