We have watched the West Wing from start to finish, what should be next?

Box sets of TV programmes work well for DH and I, as we are too disorganised to record things, and too exhausted to stay up late and watch a whole film.

The West Wing was great. He is after a string of Top Gear DVDs now, but there is only so much Clarkson I can take. Any recommendations?

We've just finished watching series 1 of The Wire, am about to get series 2

Damages was also great or Studio 60 (if you're in love with Josh Lyman)
Heroes = addictive but I found it a bit juvenile

I'm still too bereft at finishing The West Wing to have actually moved on yet but I think it will be Six Feet Under when we finally do.

I too loved the West Wing. The new remake of Battlestar Galatica is FAB...and I am not a geek, honest . First series of Dexter or Mad Men. I luuuurrrve Don Draper...

Hmm, I loved The West Wing. Studio 60 was a bit tiresome, though - I'm not surprised it got canned. I think 30 Rock is better (also, not canned!).

Battlestar is good, Dexter is good, Six Feet Under, The Wire. House is great, but pretty gory.

Ooh, ooh....just remembered Californication. Tis fab (although very filty !) David Duchovny is LOVELY in it.

Oh, yes, Californication is good.

I'd also recommend:

• the Office (US) - yes, I know, I know, but it really is good.
• Chuck - geeky but good
• Big Bang Theory - US sitcom, but really good.

The Riches with Eddie Izzard was fab
