He was fantastic tonight. Warm, modest, charming; got a standing ovation just for walking on stage. 4 encores. Oh, he's wonderful.

Just read the review in The Observer - sounds fantastic ! I love LC but dh finds him very depressing [

I've never found him depressing, rather on the cheerful side by my standards. That may say something about my taste in music.

we used to lie aroun d at art school listening to 'Rremembering Greensleeves' which is pretty dire though

I'm so pleased to have found this thread. I'm taking my sister to see him tonight at the O2 and I was rather worried that I would be bored/depressed/something else not nice.

Now I'm rather looking forward to it. Thank you all.

I'm so glad to have dug this thread up. I went to see him on Friday at the O2 with DH who got the tickets for my birthday and went along to humour me, and even he left converted.

I adore him. That voice . I cried through parts of it. He was wonderful.
