...what a miserable, small minded woman

ooh - haven't heard it this week. What has she done/said? I am intruiged.

WendyWeber · 20/04/2008 11:27

Have we heard Shula's reaction though?

I am agog

(ss, Alan and Usha are engaged - Susan was predictably cats-arse-mouthed about it.)

stealthsquiggle · 20/04/2008 11:31

Surely it wasn't news to Susan, Shula or anyone else that they were 'an item'?!

Lilymaid · 20/04/2008 11:32

It will be interesting to hear the sanctimonious Shula on this, as she seduced Usha's previous partner and then seemed to have a "special relationship" with Alan.

harpsichordcarrier · 20/04/2008 11:53

yes but getting married
he is the vicar
apparently Shula isn't happy either

MaryAnnSingleton · 20/04/2008 11:58

oh yes, can't wait for Shula's reaction !

and somebody walked out of the meeting too...heaven forfend the vicar should marry someone who worships elephants - actually Neil was being un-Eeyore-ish about it

OP posts:
WendyWeber · 20/04/2008 12:53

That elephants line was hilarious - Neil is quite human sometimes.

We've only been told that St Shula's shocked though, I want to hear her venting her fury

What I want to know is, assuming Alan & Usha have a modern relationship, does Susan really prefer her vicar shagging a Hindu out of wedlock in preference to marrying her? There are some weird attitudes in the C of E...

she is a really nasty horrible woman I can't stand her, how Neil puts up with her I really don't know

WendyWeber · 20/04/2008 13:47

Oooh Little, I missed that, was it at the start of Friday's epi?

LittleBella · 20/04/2008 13:51

Oh I love Susan

She is blissfully awful, so representative of so many horrible people.

I love the fact that she has never learned any tolerance or empathy from any of her experiences, even being sent to prison for a crime she didn't commit.

Oh thank you darling, will listen again, I missed that bit both times!

moodlumthehoodlum · 20/04/2008 14:05

I loved Neil in this weeks episodes. Hilarious. Susan is an awful woman.

I think there is going to be a problem with the sentencing, ie it will be too short.

and even the dreadful Kenton has come good

OP posts:
Hallgerda · 22/04/2008 21:16

LittleBella, Susan was sent to prison for a crime she did commit, surely?

CoffeeCrazedMama · 23/04/2008 10:06

She was shielding her lovely brother Cloive from the police, but only under duress.

I love Linda too - used to loathe her, but the character has turned into a bit of a sweetie over the past few years. She's mellowed, perhaps, with the reduction in her and Robert's financial circumstances.

MargaretMountford · 23/04/2008 10:17

I love Linda's 'posh' voice !
