I need your help, classical music question. It's a cello piece...

...solo, dramatic, the sort of thing they play in a film when something horrific/inspirational is happening and there's no sound but this piece of music. No idea what it's called, can someone suggest a few pieces it might be. If you find it from that description I will be mightly impressed!!
