is so good I can't stop playing it! any other fans out there? I may have to go see them live. That 3rd track is AMAZING on the album.

Brilliant, more Elbow fans. My dsis knew Guy Garvey and the band when she lived in Manchester - success has been a long time coming for them. Apparently they are all over Six Music, and Guy even does a show on the station.
I only know their music through Seldom Seen Kid and dsis agrees that Grace Under Pressure is also a classic
Definitely one of those "where have you been all my life" bands

Marina, I got into them through 6music. 6 is definitely my default station, and Guy Garvey's Sunday show is quite magnificent. I think I have a bit of a crush, actually .

I am just listening to Elbow now. I kept hearing how fab they were and asked my brother for the new album for my birthday. He bought me the wrong one (Cast of Thousands) but it is absolutely brilliant. I think Fugitive Motel is just beautiful.
I have now bought the latest album which is also great. I can't believe it has taken me this long to discover them.
And Guy Garvey sounds so much like Peter Gabriel it's untrue - and that can only be a good thing IMO.
