I hope that mumsnetters don't mind, but panic has set in on another part of cyber space. The Not a pushy mum website is shutting down for the weekend!!!! I thought that they might enjoy an outing to the world of mumsnet for a change. Please be kind and welcoming - They might venture onto other parts of mumsnet and stick around for a while.

Welcome to Mumsnet
Enjoy!

islandofsodor · 28/03/2008 23:21

For those who have no idea what NAPM is it is a website for parents of children who perform, either professionally or amateur (or in my case someone who works with children who perform.)

WhereDidTheYearsGo · 28/03/2008 23:39

Hello!

cornsilk · 28/03/2008 23:46

So the name NAPM is ironic then is it?

glinda · 28/03/2008 23:48

Anyone who has waited around at an audition will probably have eaten all sorts of junk foods!

Ohh, my ds 'performs' every time we take him to see great auntie mildred. Usually performs at both ends, too. On her sofa, last time. (True story!)

islandofsodor · 29/03/2008 16:47

No, the name is not ironic. It is for parents who want to support their children but who are not pushy stage mums of the kind that we sometimes meet.
