STOMP: would a 4-year-old enjoy it?

Mum and Dad have promised to take DD1 to the theatre in March. They live in central London. Someone told me Stomp is great for young kids but I'm not sure how young. DD1 has been to the theatre a lot and it's her favourite thing - she can sit through pretty long shows - what do you think?

Depends on the child I guess, its very loud full on high energy. My ds1 would love it, ds2 would hide under chair crying. At the same age.

I suspect DD1 is more like your DS1 moopy - noise NOT a problem - yet to see her fazed by anything on stage or screen to be honest

(And DD2 more like your DS2 by the sound of it!)

Dd went to see Stomp when she was about four and a half - absolutely loved it and can't wait to go again.

Yes, it's noisy but it's full of life, energy and humour. There are also quieter bits and lots of contrast.

And it's not over-long; no interval, lasts about an hour and a half.

Sounds just DD1's cup of tea. Thanks WWB
