Apparently she's beetn getting a hard time since taking over some Woman's Hour slots, so I just wanted to say:

she has an utterly gorgeous voice
she comes across as warm and empathetic
she is clever and funny
I'd like to be her mate
AND
I think she is ace on Woman's Hour.

Also, anyone who thinks that Radio 4 is the only decent radio station should be publicly horsewhipped.

She always sounds if she already knows the answers. She doesn't seem to listen very hard.
She sounds a bit remote.
(How weird that she suggested bringing her husband to the interview!)

well I lurve her too -- I really miss her on the drive show on R5 - that used to be such a good program... love her wit, insight and casual style.. scousers are FAB
